About · est. 2024, Gothenburg

Built by two makers tired of guessing.

Featurevote started the way most honest tools do: we needed it ourselves. Somewhere between the support inbox, the sales calls, and someone's memory, the truth about what to build next kept getting lost.

The story

From gut feeling to real demand.

Every product team we'd been on made roadmap decisions the same way: whoever argued loudest in the planning meeting won. Customer feedback existed — scattered across tickets, emails, and hallway conversations — but it never made it into the room.

So we built a board where users could ask and vote, without logging in, and where shipped work turned into a changelog that told the exact people who asked. Simple enough to set up in under a minute, honest enough to also tell you what not to build.

Today Featurevote runs public roadmaps and lightweight internal trackers for product teams who'd rather listen than guess — from WorkMirror's public voting board to Commentsell's one-board workflow.

What we believe

Three principles, in plain sight.

01

Ship from conversations

A backlog is a list of guesses. A board full of votes and comments is a conversation — we build the product, and our roadmap, from the second one.

02

Simplicity is the feature

A board in 40 seconds, voting without a login, a changelog that drafts itself. Every feature we add has to make Featurevote feel smaller, not bigger.

03

Close the loop

Feedback without a reply is a complaint box. When something ships, the people who asked should hear about it — automatically, every time.

The makers

“We're a two-person company. Every feature request gets read by the people who'll build it.”

Got an opinion on what we should build next?

Good — that's rather the point. Tell us on our own board, or start one of yours.
