Read only, or read and write.

Signing in opens a consent screen on Featurevote. You pick one account and what the client may do there.

Read only
It sees requests, votes, comments, changelog entries and who is working on what. It cannot change anything, because the write tools are never given to the client.
Read and write
It can also change a request’s status, assign it, post comments as you, add requests and votes for your customers, and write changelog drafts.
Never
It cannot publish a changelog, since that emails your subscribers. It sees only the one account you picked, and it acts as you, within your own role.

One URL and a sign in.

Any client that speaks the current MCP transport over HTTP and can sign in with OAuth connects the same way. We have tested it end to end with Claude.

Nothing is installed. You can disconnect a client any time from Settings, and access stops on its next request.
