We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember a few of your preferences. That is all.
Featurevote sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not sell or share your browsing behaviour with anyone.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It lets the site recognise your browser on your next request — which is how you stay signed in between page loads.
Websites can also store data in your browser without cookies, using local storage and session storage. We use both, and we list what we keep there below, because it affects your privacy the same way a cookie does even though it is technically not one.
These are required for the Service to work. If you block them, you will not be able to sign in.
sb- — set by our authentication provider, Supabase, to keep you signed in and to refresh your session. The full name includes an identifier for our database, and a long session may be split across several numbered cookies. A short-lived cookie ending in -code-verifier is used during sign-in to complete the login exchange securely. These remember choices you make. Blocking them will not break the Service — it will simply forget your preferences.
NEXT_LOCALE — records which language version of the site you are viewing. Set automatically as you browse, so the right language loads on your next visit.lang — the language you chose explicitly, in your account settings or on a public board. Kept for up to a year.theme — whether you chose the light or dark appearance. Kept for up to a year.sidebar_state — whether you collapsed the dashboard sidebar. Kept for a week.fv-landing-demo-host — if you tried the demo on our home page by entering your website address, this remembers that address for up to seven days so we can set up your board for you if you sign up. It contains only the website address you typed. The following is kept in your browser’s local or session storage. It is never sent to our servers automatically the way cookies are, and it stays on your device.
We keep third-party code to a minimum. The ones below are the only services that can run in your browser while you use Featurevote, and each is there to make the product work rather than to observe you.
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies in its settings, usually under Privacy. You can block everything, or allow only the sites you choose.
Because we do not use cookies for advertising or analytics, there is nothing here to opt out of for tracking purposes. Blocking our strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in; blocking the preference cookies simply means the Service forgets your language and appearance choices.
The local and session storage described above is cleared the same way — through your browser’s “clear browsing data” or site-data controls.
Cookies are separate from the information held in your account. For access, correction, deletion, or export of that data — including your rights under the GDPR — see our Privacy Policy.
If we add or remove a cookie, we update this page. Changes take effect when posted, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
